Overload protection via special disk spring

Functional description

The backlash-free overload system operates with a form fit. The perforated disk spring is used for the transmission of the torque. Upon exceedance of the torque set, relative motion between drive and output occurs. At the same time, the transmissible torque decreases. The ball bearings stored in the perforated disk spring leave the depressions of the disk spring. Upon elimination of the overload, they once again re-engage in the depressions of the disk spring.
