Heavyweight for high torques and large shaft diameters

This three-part large coupling is particularly robust, torsionally flexible and fail-safe. It reliably compensates for shaft offsets of any kind while safely transmitting high torques.

POLY-NORM® M is used mainly in drives that experience impact loads in which high torques need to be transmitted.

Structure and function of POLY-NORM® M

POLY-NORM® M is made of ductile cast iron. It consists of a flange hub and a cam ring with an internal hub with cam geometry. The torque is transmitted by elastomer rows arranged in series, which are located between the cams. The elastomers compensate for offsets and dampen impact loads and torsional vibrations.

The three-part structure of the coupling allows for easy replacement of the elastomers in an installed state.
