Reliable compensation of shaft offsets and torque transmission

POLY-NORM® comes with an axial plug-in and is characterised in particular by its short design. It is used in almost all areas of general mechanical engineering and the pump industry. The POLY-NORM® coupling competently compensates for shaft misalignments of any kind and reliably transmits the torque.

Structure and function

The POLY-NORM® coupling consists of two hubs, with cam and pocket elements alternately arranged on the circumference of the face, which are inserted blindly into each other axially, offset by half a cam pitch. In precisely fitting clearances, half the elastomer ring is clamped in each coupling hub and thus transmits the torque in a space-saving manner solely via a pressure load in the elastomer.
